Banks 25998 Boost Tube System (Red Powdercoat) 10-12 Dodge 6.7L Cummins 2010-2012 Dodge 6.7L Cummins
Problem 1: Your factory drivers side intercooler tube is plastic, which can crack and even burst when subjected to higher than stock boost levels. Problem 2: Especially if you're upgraded your intake manifold or intercooler, the stock 3" tubes are bottlenecking your performance. The fix? Simple, this Boost Tube kit from Banks.
Increase flow area up to 65% over the stock boost tubes with Banks' huge 3-1/2" boost tubes. Stock consists of a 3" plastic cold side tube and a 2.75" metal hot side tube. Banks boost tubes are both 3-1/2" constant diameter mandrel bent. More air allows for more fuel which means more horsepower.
Better flowing intercooler tubes improve retention of boost pressure (increases density) between turbo, intercooler, and intake resulting in maximum horsepower. The red powder-coat finish stops before the end of the tubes for better grip ensuring the 4- and 5-ply heavy-duty high-temperature silicone couplers hold tight under high-boost conditions. Spring-loaded constant tension clamps maintain a stronger grip to prevent leaks or blown boots.
FITMENT NOTES:
This kit is designed to work with the stock elbow or Banks Monster-Ram (3.5" or 4") and the stock intercooler (or aftermarket intercooler with stock inlet and outlet size and location).
Hot side tube will not fit with Banks Airbox older than Revision E. Must have OEM Airbox or Revision E Banks airbox. All airboxes prior to Revision E do not have revision label. If your Banks airbox does not have a revision label, it will not fit with the Banks OEM replacement boost tube.
