Undoubtedly, the BEST monotube shock on the market for a Cummins powered Ram is the Carli Signature Series. Originally, Carli used the Bilstein 5100 shocks in their Starter and Leveling Systems, but knew they could build a better shock, and so they did. This is the same shock that Carli currently offers in their Starter and Leveling Kits, but now available as a replacement shock. This is a great shock package for those that use their truck for everyday use, but not "abusing" it off-road. Designed for trucks with a 2-3" front end leveling kit.
