Made with safety in mind, the built-in resistance sensors will stop operation if an obstruction is sensed, preventing damage to the steps� motors or injury to passengers. When not in use, the running boards tuck under the truck and provide paint protection to the underside of your rocker panels. Additionally, each Command AutoStep package comes with an override switch so that when the vehicle is on a trail or on a lift being serviced the switch will deactivate step deployment which prevents any unintended damage. Sturdy end caps are installed to protect steps and reduce debris build-up.
